Pave Your Path PSA Series
As higher education faces scrutiney and budget cuts, we were tasked with debunking a common misconception about college. Our team, The Mythbusters, targeted a critical myth: that career preparation can wait until senior year. Students who delay career prep often feel overwhelmed, unprepared, and directionless after graduation.
I led a cross-functional team of 6, assigning roles and managing project execution from concept to final pitch. I developed the social media PSA execution emphasizing early career preparation, designed the majority of campaign graphics while maintaining visual consistency across all content, and produced the presentation deck that I co-delivered.
The campaign is a 5-post social media series that reframes career career preparation as manageable and ongoing rather than one daunting task. It spotlights underutilized resources — the Career Development Center, LinkedIn Learning, UTA/DFW organizations, and the Follett Leadership Center — and guides students toward a clear call to action: attending Comm Day in October. By meeting students on social media where they already get camps information, we made career prep feel accessible and achievable.
